Vintage Finds & 90s Vibes: The Look That Made Me Feel Like That Girl
Okay, diva, letโs talk about this playful look I threw together on a day when I just wanted to feel bold, nostalgic, and just a lilโ spicy. There were no fancy rules to this, just vibes. I found the Salt-N-Pepa tee on sale for $10 at Journeyโs one day and knew I had to pair it with something fire. It needed something fun yet effortless because it simply speaks for itself.

This was a mash-up of the things that I love dearly: vintage feels, leopard print, and a lilโ comfy heel.
The Look Breakdown:
- Top: Journeyโs โ $10
- Bottoms: Thrifted from City Thriftโ (~$5)
- Shoes: Shein โ ($)
Why I Wore It:
Fashion is my favorite form of self-expression, and this outfit gave me the bold and 90s feel that I have been itching to feel for a minute. I didnโt overthink this; I styled it based on how I wanted to feel. And truthfully, I felt like THAT girl.
The leopard gauchos were a thrift store win that I honestly almost passed up because they are 2 sizes too big, but I am SO glad I didnโt. They are comfy, bold, and definitely give instant style points (also, leopard and red were trending for a lil minute earlier this year). Pairing them with the graphic tee created a look that just works. It gave attitude, nostalgia, and femininity all at once. Then, I kept searching for the perfect shoe and found the red kitten heels at the last minute in my shoe stash. Chefโs kiss!
How You Can Recreate the Look:
If you are looking to put together a similar vibe, you donโt need to spend a lot; just mix what you already have, girl.
- Donโt be afraid to mix prints and bold graphics. This is what adds that personality to your outfit instantly.
- THRIFT. THRIFT. THRIFT. Hidden gems all throughout them stores, boo. And donโt let too big sizes or even some rips throw you off. We improvise over hurrr!
- Grab those graphic tees. They are perfect tied up, tucked, and oversized. You can do so much with them and without too much thought.
- If you are not a big heel girl but need something besides sneakers or flat sandals to bring a look together? Grab a kitten heel and stop thinking theyโre just for mawmaw. The look without the pain!
- And as always, finish with statement jewelry to elevate everything!

Final Thoughts:
You don’t need designer pieces to show your style. You just need a wardrobe that makes you feel something. For me, this look and all my other looks just remind me that fashion doesnโt have to be perfect and doesnโt have to look like everyone else. It just has to feel right to me. Once your outfit makes you feel confident and bold? Thatโs what matters in the end, and mine did just that!
And sometimes thatโs the point: dressing for who you are becomingโnot just where you are going.
Thatโs my spiel for today.
I love you, Diva, and thereโs nothing you can do about it.
Xoxo, LaKambria
